4. Practice stock market with virtual money – a game


These are some websites that provide you with a platform with virtual money and almost the same system that your online brokerage provides you.

We have not personally tried these since they constantly change.

Note that even though you might want to practice with these sites, it can never replace the actual stock experience when your actual money is put into your brokerage account. When your money is actually invested you will be more involved and take the stock market more seriously, and therefore learn to a greater extend. These sites are good to learn the stock jargon mostly and learn how to put orders through.
